Warning: without a backup of your existing GFWL offline profile, 
there is no way to restore your offline saved game progress. 
If you didn't make a backup or otherwise have no way of obtaining one, 
you are out of luck.

This only works using Games for Windows Live / GFWL / in offline mode.
Offline Mode Only!

Windows XP:

Click START > RUN

Copy and Paste the text between the brackets [ %userprofile%\local settings ]

On the main C:\ drive choose

Organize > Folder Settings > View tab > Show hidden files and folders.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local

What to back up:

1:	%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\XLive

2:	My Documents\Bioshock2

Copy the entire contents of both folders and paste them into another directory 
where a backup can be stored.

If you format your computer or console hard disk you need to store them 
elsewhere. Without the entire folder contents there is no way to access your
saved games.
